Icelandic horses
Often small but no less majestic, the Icelandic horse is a sight to behold!
I felt quite nervous around these horses, I felt they could sense I had no snacks to offer them and they were quite upset at this fact. However, they did allow me to capture some beautiful images.
We then hiked through 2 feet of snow for an hour to get to a secret hot spring which was home to a tiny mouse. I did not manage to get his picture unfortunately. Next time.
Latin name - Equus ferus caballus
