Spirit of iceland

I met this stunning horse in the North of Iceland, not far from lake Mývatn. We were instant best friends and she followed my wife and I around the lava field for ages. She even protected us from the more rambunctious horses in the group, the ones who have no understanding of personal space at all! For how much I love these animals I am always very aware of how strong and powerful they are when I am around them, it is important to let them make the decisions regarding touch and proximity.
