Forget me not

Elephants are by far one of my favourite animals (I have probably said that about every animal at some point!). Powerful, gentle and incredibly smart too, an animal we can learn so much from when it comes to family values. I really enjoyed creating the harsh shadows on this painting as I really wanted it to have a sense of heat, I imagine it as an early morning just as the sun is coming up and rapidly warming everything it touches.

Elephants remind us to be more aware of our own strengths and abilities, to be more secure in ourselves, knowing that we have the power to create the life we truly desire.
