Heron

With a typical wingspan of around 6ft, the grey heron is a sight to behold at the rivers, lakes and ponds of the UK.

Not only eating fish, the heron also has a taste for small rodents, using their keen eyesight and lightning fast reactions to ensure a high rate of success when on the hunt.

Definitely something mythical about these birds which is why felt black and white would work really well for the image.
